Maria Barreiro
Maria Barreiro is proud to have been born and raised in Dartmouth, the youngest of five children in a lively immigrant family. She learned from an early age that hard work and drive would lead her to success in doing anything she set her mind to. That ambition would lead her to Saint Mary’s University, where she majored in psychology and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. While there, she was also proud to be part of the Women’s Field Hockey team and is pleased to have remained an active member of the field hockey community to this day! Her experiences at university, academically and as a competitive athlete, helped shape her into the successful & industrious person she is today.
Always independent, Maria’s adventurous spirit was nurtured and world travel was in her blood, so she took every opportunity possible to explore many areas in North and Central America and in Europe. Shortly after graduating from Saint Mary’s she fulfilled one of her life’s dreams to visit Africa, where she spent the majority of her three months on the continent volunteering at Ebenezer’s Orphanage in Arusha, Tanzania. Her experience in Africa is one for which she will always be grateful, and Ebenezer’s is a cause that she will forever hold near and dear to her heart.
Maria believes in immersing herself fully in every activity she undertakes, whether abroad or at home. She remains a proud Dartmouthian and participates frequently in local events and programs that highlight the city she loves. Her strong sense of community lead her to search out a career path that would seamlessly combine her competitive nature with her love of people, and so she knew immediately upon entering into real estate that she’d found her perfect fit.
Maria has been working in real estate since 2013 and provides her clients with a detailed analysis of the real estate market with integrity and honesty. She is always complete and thorough in her advice to ensure she is meeting her client’s goals and anticipating their needs. With her Social Marketer Designation, she can help clients reach their maximum audience with modern efficiency and focus. Maria has a passion for providing her clients with outstanding service, which lead her to the Falkwin Group, where she has been able to provide her clients with even more.
