Yena was born and raised in South Korea before coming to Canada to study in 2006. After high school, Yena decided to stay in Canada to further her education and went on to study Math and Statistics at Queens University.
An accomplished violinist herself, Yena has spent the past few years teaching violin lessons. Through her teaching, she has been able to connect with the Korean community in NS and realized how many of them were struggling with the immigration process and finding the right place to live. After helping some of these families, Yena was inspired to learn more about real estate and decided to become an agent so she could do more for her community.
When she's not working, Yena loves to play the violin and spend time with her 8-year-old son, who has the biggest heart.
